Moove at Your Own Pace Handmade Card

There’s something about a lazy Saturday that just calls for a little creativity… and maybe a second cup of coffee before anything remotely productive happens. Today’s project fits that vibe perfectly—easygoing, cheerful, and just plain fun.

We’re playing with digital images again (because honestly, who doesn’t love skipping shipping fees and dodging tariffs like a crafty ninja?). Today’s star of the show is Pitou, this utterly adorable little cow who has clearly mastered the art of relaxation. I mean… lounging on hay bales with that sweet little face? Goals.

And can we talk about that sentiment for a second—“Moove at your own pace”? It’s punny, it’s cute, and frankly, it feels like solid life advice. Pitou gets it. No rushing, no stress… just a gentle reminder that not everything needs to happen at full speed.

For this card, I wanted to keep things playful but still visually interesting. The trees are layered to create a bit of depth and draw your eye inward—almost like framing our little cow in her happy place. It’s a simple trick, but it adds so much dimension without complicating the design.

The coloring was done with Copics (my trusty go-to), bringing Pitou and those golden hay bales to life with soft shading and warmth. The background keeps things light and breezy with ink-blended clouds from a stencil—because every relaxed cow deserves a dreamy sky—and a bit of grassy texture to ground the scene.

And of course… we couldn’t resist a few gems. Just a touch of sparkle to catch the light and add that little extra something that makes you smile.

All in all, this card is a gentle reminder to slow down, enjoy the process, and maybe take a cue from Pitou. Because sometimes the best thing you can do… is absolutely nothing at all—just at your own pace.
