Happy BEE-DAY Card+ a little Faux Pas
Cute card right?!
And you’re wondering about the little faux pas?
Well I colored this darling gnome to be my focal point on this card, and when I was finished and having a look at the pretty colors I suddenly second guessed as to what some parts of the image actually were…
Now, I had the whole card assembled, and everything was attached - it was by no other definition a completed card.
Three or four people had viewed the card at this point and no one else even noticed it, until I brought it up and then you saw the surprised faces with the “oh ya” looks as everyone else began to question as well.
Look closely!
Is that a rock and hostas beside that Gnome or… it is a sunflower?
The only way to verify as to whether this adorable image contained a rock or a sunflower was to check the pre colored version of this image from Polkadoodles.
Pre colored images are available for purchase on the Polkadoodles website for the simple convenience for anyone who doesn’t love to color as much as I do. Those of you who don’t like to color can still create amazing creations with the same super fun images.
And sure enough, the precolored version tells us that the image was meant to have a sunflower next to the gnome - not hostas & a rock.
What was I thinking?!
Regardless of this faux pas my finished card is still exactly that, a finished card. Someone will love it! Someone who loves hostas with a hint of rock. Haha!
