Bead Dynasty: The Green Bead Conspiracy Continues
Previously on Bead Dynasty… (if you would like to see what I created with the first kit)
A $6 Halloween bead kit arrived in the craft room full of promise, questionable spelling opportunities, and one completely random green bead.
One.
Just one.
No matching friend. No obvious Halloween purpose. No explanation.
Naturally, instead of accepting this tiny mystery and moving on with my life like a reasonable person, I did what any dedicated crafter/investigative journalist would do.
I ordered another $6 kit.
Money. Power. Pony Beads.
And apparently now… investigative journalism.
My thinking was simple. Surely another box would contain another green bead. Then the original little guy would finally have a friend. Maybe this was how the kits worked. One mysterious green bead per box.
The second box arrived.
I opened it.
I searched.
I searched again.
NO. GREEN. BEAD.
Not one.
It’s almost as though Amazon knew exactly why I ordered a second box and said, Absolutely not. You’re not getting out of this that easily.
So now, after purchasing two entire Halloween bead kits, I am still the proud owner of exactly one lonely green bead with no apparent purpose in life.
At this point, I’m keeping it forever.
It has become part of the family.
But There Is Hope…
The second kit does give us something very important: more letter beads.
And if you remember the first box, the letter selection left us with some rather limited linguistic possibilities.
So now the real question is:
Can the combined contents of TWO $6 Halloween bead kits produce an actual word?
Not necessarily a good word.
I’m setting the bar low here.
Three letters.
Recognizable by the English-speaking population.
Preferably something I can put on a bracelet without having to explain myself.
Surely $12 worth of beads can give me that.
Right?
Right?!
I’ll link the infamous little Halloween bead kit here for anyone who would like to join me in this completely unnecessary experiment. $6Halloween Bead Kit from Amazon
If you order one, I have only one request:
Please report back immediately if you get a green bead.
Because apparently I’m collecting data now.
And so ends another episode of Bead Dynasty — where the budget is questionable, the bead purchases are unnecessary, and one tiny green bead continues to hold all the power.
Money. Power. Pony Beads.

Some of the links sprinkled throughout this post are affiliate links. That simply means if you click one and decide you absolutely need that crafty little something in your life, I may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
Think of it as helping to keep this little corner of the internet supplied with paper, ink, beads… and, most importantly, coffee. Because apparently creativity requires caffeine and an alarming number of craft supplies.
So click away guilt-free. You get the crafty goodies, I might get enough commission to fund my next questionable craft-room purchase. Everybody wins ~Thank you!
