This technique is so easy that my 2 year old grandson creates it with me. We make it so often, I have a whole folder full of different colors that are ready to take out and use for background panels, die cut pieces, word dies. or just when a touch of color is required on a card front.
How to Create Quick & Easy Patterned Paper
Create patterned paper in a jiffy, no tools required, just white card stock and a mini ink pad.

Start with a piece of white cardstock and a mini ink pad.
Working diagonally lightly drag the ink pad across the paper in rows ( you’ll want to place a piece of scrap paper underneath).
Turn the paper around and work diagonally across the paper in the opposite direction. That’s it. Let it dry and craft up your project. The photo shows the finished blue paper.
