Creating an Egg-cellent Easter Card…
Featuring an adorable carrot eating bunny and some cute little chicks from Polka Doodle Ltd.
To create this project you will first need to visit Polka Doodles and purchase & download the images listed below, and print them.
When purchasing the images you do have the option to purchase them already colored.
After printing, coloring and cutting your images you will need a card base cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored @4 1/4.
A piece of coordinating patterned paper cut at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I chose a piece of paper from Pink & Main - Pop Flowers 6x6 paper pad. Adhere this piece to the front of the card base.
A piece of white cardstock cut at 1 3/4 x 5 1/2. You will need to use a scalloped edge die to cut a scallop border on both long ends of the white card stock piece. Apply foam tape to the back of this section.
** I printed and adhered the greeting to the front of the white scalloped panel, however I had intended to cut the scalloped panel from the piece of paper that I had printed the sentiment on. I feel it would have looked better. However you choose to do it is up to you.
Adhere the scalloped section to the card front just about a half inch from the bottom.
Tuck the 2 little chick images on either side of the card .
Apply some foam tape to the back of the bunnies head and glue to the bottom section of the image and adhere the glue section to the white scalloped section and the head of the image directly to the card front. This will level up bunny image on the card front.
Lastly add a few gems, rhinestones or dots to the card front.
I used the exclusive sequins included in the Pink & Main - Crafty Courtyard Monthly kit.
Choose a greeting for the inside of your card from the Spring into Easter Messages.
