This or That? - Fishy Cards to Beat the Heat
Okay, friends. It’s 42°C with the humidex, my bangs have officially surrendered, and my only motivation right now is caffeine and the hum of my overworked A/C unit.
So what better time to dive into some crafty goodness and ask the question: Which fishy card are YOU feeling today?
I’ve got two absolutely adorable, water-loving cards on the table—both brought to life with goodies from Simon Says Stamp, because if I’m going to sweat through my sports bra while crafting, it better be with high-quality supplies.
Card #1:
💦 “Make your birthday a splash!”
This one is like a pool party in card form. We’ve got rainbow-bright fish living their best birthday bash lives, floating around a bubbly background that’s giving major under-the-sea whimsy.
I don’t know about you, but this card makes me want to cannonball into the lake with a cupcake in one hand and a party hat on.

🐠 Simon Says Stamp – UnderSea Friends Stamp Set
💬 Simon Says Stamp – Undersea Friends Wafer Dies
🎨 Simon Says Stamp – Prize Ribbon Distress Spritz
🖌 Copic Sketch Markers
These adorable little neon fish…
Card #2:
🐟 “Keep swimming. Things will be okay.”
This is the card equivalent of a deep breath and a long sip of iced vanilla cold brew while staring into the abyss of your adult responsibilities.
It’s calm, it’s cool, it’s got some Finding Nemo energy (bless you, Dory). The fish here? Total opposites: one zippy and confident, the other round and slightly anxious-looking—relatable. But the sentiment? Comfort in card form. And let’s be real, we could all use a little of that right now.

I can’t get enough of these cute little fishies…
So, this or that?
Are you team “Let’s party with fish!” or “Emotionally underwater but still going”?
Honestly, both cards slap. Both were made with stamps and dies from Simon Says Stamp—a brand I swear by, especially when I need my crafting to look way more polished than I feel.
If you're out here drowning in humidity and living off iced coffee and frozen grapes, at least your cards can look like they're living their best beach life.
Drop a comment, hydrate, and tell me which one you’re sending this summer.
Stay cool.
