Creating an Egg-cellent Easter Card with Polka Doodle Digital Designs

So I have recently hooked up with Polka Doodle designs. If you haven’t seen them they are worth checking out so you can see just how much product they offer whether in physical stamps and crafting products or from a digital aspect.

I ran onto the Polka Doodle website awhile back and I have to say I was so impressed! Digitally speaking this company would allow me to purchase and download digital stamps, digital pattern papers, coordinating sets of stamps and papers… and here’s the bonus - they also have the cutting files to coordinate with the images. Super awesome!

I guess there was another bonus - pages and pages of themed digital sentiments. When you pick a set of images that you would like to create with you can also find a full page of sentiments to coordinate with the theme of the images. Endless possibilities when creating your cards.

If you happen to be new to the digital world of creating, you can also download a combo of products at a very small price which will include an image, coordinating papers, cut files and sentiments to go with the project. Everything all in one file takes the guess work out of what goes with what when trying to create a project.

Here’s another bonus - if you don’t want to color the images that you would like to create with you can also purchase the already colored image to download and simply cut and apply to your card. This would make creating a card so quick and easy! I like to color my images - however some people don’t and the end results are just as beautiful.

Never have I seen a company that offered so much on the menu of digital products. As you know, I love digital products because they give me endless options with sizing an image for a project, mirroring an image or a background, mixing and matching images and backgrounds, but mostly due to the storage solutions. All of these images and tools for creating my cards live on my computer. I’m not endlessly adding new shelves to my studio for new products to live. If I have my tablet with me on the go I can create card designs while I’m at our hunting camp or the sawmill, in the waiting room at appointments, or just relaxing in front of the tv. Not to mention the savings in digital images and papers allows me more funds to purchase mixed media or other fun products to take my projects to a whole new level.

Don’t get me wrong… I still love physical stamps, stencils and so many of the creative products out there that allow me to express my creativity. Polka Doodles has tons of physical products to, so be sure to check out the whole website so you can see everything this company has to offer.

So now that I’ve talked about Polka Doodles and everything it has to offer… Lets just talk about this Egg-cellent Easter card from the original post. Simply adorable - chicks with Easter Eggs, a fun little bunny all gathered up on a pink gingham print paper (Pink & Main), highlighted with some frilly scallops.

I actually chose this design after watching Caitlin Annalee on a Pink & Main video create a similar card the other night where she used different Easter images and paper from Pink & Main (I love their products to) , however I loved her card and decided to run with a similar layout to show off these cute little Easter images from Polka Doodle. So Thank You Caitlin.
