“Robo Buddies or Teletubbies? You Decide!”

I’m not saying I took one look at this stamp set and immediately heard the Teletubbies theme song in my head…but I’m also not not saying that.

Because honestly—tell me these little cuties don’t look like they’re about to come bouncing over a hill at sunrise. Total Dipsy and Tinky Winky vibes, right?

I fully leaned into that nostalgic moment and just ran with it!

This adorable card was created using the Robo Buddies stamp set from Simon Says Stamp—yes, technically they’re robots… but in my crafty world, they’ve officially been rebranded as retro-inspired, hill-hopping cuties. I arranged them coming over some softly ink-blended hillside die cuts, complete with fluffy clouds and a bright, cheerful sky. The bold colors really bring each character to life, and I couldn’t resist adding a few sparkly embellishments for that extra pop of fun.

What I love most about this set is how versatile it really is. While my brain went straight to nostalgic kids’ TV, these little guys would be just as perfect in a totally different direction. Imagine them floating through a galaxy background with stars, planets, and maybe even a spaceship or two—instant cosmic birthday card! You could easily shift the vibe from playful meadow to outer space adventure depending on your mood (or the recipient!).

And let’s be real—sometimes the best part of crafting is letting your imagination take over and turning something into your version of fun. Whether you see robots, retro TV characters, or tiny astronauts, this set is packed with personality and possibilities.
