Quick & Easy Christmas Tags You’ll Actually Have Time to Make

When it comes to Christmas prep, I love keeping things quick, cheerful, and handmade — and these DIY Christmas Tags check all of the boxes!

There’s something extra fun about getting a jump on Christmas prep — especially when it’s quick, easy, and handmade! For this week’s Design Team project, I decided to whip up a batch of festive tags using the Winter Wonderland Embellies pairing them with beautiful coordinating pattern papers from the Winnie Winterland collection.

Honestly, it’s the perfect mix of relaxing and productive — just print, cut into tags, pop the ornaments up with a little foam tape, and tie on your favorite ribbon. I couldn’t resist finishing with a bit of splatter (because “snow” tag is complete without it!).

It is exactly that easy —

  • included in the file is a full printable sheet of ornaments along with sheets of other fun holiday printables that could also be used to tags. The whole sheet prints at once. Just hit print!

  • Beautiful coordinating holiday print papers can be printed at the desired size (though 8x8) is recommended. Cut the paper into 2 x3 1/2 in strips. You can use a tag punch or scissors to fancy up the top of the tag.

  • Add a splatter of white, gold or silver to the tags. Or all if you prefer.

  • Attach the chosen ornaments using foam tape and liquid glue.

  • Punch a hole in the tag, and add a complimentary ribbon or twine.

A simple, cozy project that makes your gift wrapping look totally put together — and gives you an excuse to play with pretty paper.
