Dashing Through the Snow (and my Stash!)

Well, I guess we can officially say winter has arrived — and she sure made an entrance!

After a snowstorm swept through Ontario yesterday, I couldn’t resist leaning into the cozy, snowy vibe with today’s card. There’s just something about fresh snow, a hot cup of coffee, and a pile of crafty supplies calling your name. I might not be ready to shovel the driveway just yet, but I’m more than ready to craft a little winter magic from the comfort of my warm craft room!

This card came together with a bit of die-cutting fun — I started by cutting all the pieces from plain white cardstock, then brought them to life with Copic markers for that warm, wood-toned sled and soft gray skates. I used a silver metallic cardstock for the skate blades and the frame of the sled.

The large “Merry Christmas” sentiment is stamped across a partial arch die cut, creating a bold yet cozy backdrop that really ties everything together. And of course, no snow themed card would be complete without a splatter of snow in the background.

To pull this frosty scene together, I reached into my trusty stash for some well-loved dies and a favorite sentiment stamp. They may not be new releases, but they definitely still bring the holiday cheer! (You can find the product details below.)
