Brewing Up a Holly Jolly Christmas Card
Oh by golly, it’s definitely feeling holly jolly around here tonight!
There’s just something about Christmas crafting that brings out the extra sparkle in my day — and maybe a little extra giggle too. Whether it’s the cocoa talking or the charm of these festive little mugs, this card practically brewed its own personality while I was creating it.
Warm, whimsical, and sprinkled with just the right amount of holiday cheer, it’s the kind of project that makes you want to wrap presents, sip something cozy, and hum along to your favorite Christmas tune.
To build this cheery scene, I started by ink-blending a rich red background through a brick stencil to give that classic cozy-fireplace vibe. From there, a generously sized tag die became the perfect landing pad for the main attraction: those adorable Christmas mugs and the bold, joyful sentiment. A few delicate touches took the whole project up a notch — a shimmer of gold splatter, some fine glitter for sparkle, and a sweet bow made from gold thread to tie everything together (literally and figuratively!). It’s festive, layered, and absolutely ready to spread some Christmas cheer.
If you’re itching to recreate this merry little design or add a few of these festive favorites to your own stash, I’ve gathered the products I used below so you can sip, craft, and jolly right along with me.
