Under the same Moon - Creative Card Design

In these challenging times, it's easy to get caught up in fear and uncertainty. However, it's important to remember that we are all connected. This card reminds us to focus on the fact that every person on this planet, regardless of where they live, what their nationality is, or what their ideology may be
...we all look at the same moon.

This card reminds us to embrace our differences - we are all unique and beautiful individuals living under the very same moon...

The quote on the card front reads "no matter what our differences are, we all look the same moon" - Katrina Mayer, and the stamp set is yet another beautiful illustration by Anita Jeram from the Colorado Craft Company called A Fox's Life.

This card was created by first stamping the desired image on the left side of my white cardstock piece. I then stamped the same image onto a piece of masking paper, I cut the image out and placed the mask over my stamped image on the cardstock layer. I also used the masking paper and a small circle die to cut out a moon, and placed that mask on my cardstock piece toward the upper right corner.

I blended out from the moon with 3 tones of blue and a darker purple, working from lightest to darkest and going back over with the previous colors. I was sure to leave only the lighter shade where I intended for the moon to shine.

Before removing the masks I added a spritz of water, and random splatter with acrylic white paint, and a splatter of silver.

Remove the masks and allow the layer to dry.

Color the tree and fox image with Copic Markers or your choice of coloring tools.

Use a stamping platform to stamp the desired sentiment.

Add any highlights with a white gel pen.

Matt the layers and add them to a card base.

To create a coordinating inside blend some of the remaining ink from the
blending brushes randomly over the inside panel of the card, and stamp
the desired inside sentiment.
Don't forget to decorate an envelope!

This stamp set has a few other beautiful images and sentiments so be sure
to have a peek at the stamp set in its entirety.
I hope this card has given you some creative inspiration or a least a smile...
