Coming up this week - Gorgeous fall themed cards from the All About Autumn
Suite of products just released from Stampin' Up.
I was pleasantly surprised with this suite. I first thought "hmm, more leaves".
While I love fall leaves and creating cards with them, I felt that the Autumn
Leaves bundle was a bit to much like the already beautiful leaves from
autumn releases gone by.
After much thought I decided to give a whirl anyhow. The fact that they are more autumn leaves I guess is just obvious - cuz how many ways can you create fall leaf stamps and dies right?! So they would in reality have to be at least shaped the same as the leaves from catalogues from previous years.
Shaped the same, but very different. The Autumn Leaves dies are absolutely beautiful and designed with many options for crafting. I love that they have the leaf cut outs, the spine of the leaves ( which allows for many different variations ), some little pieces to create an embossed effect with, and sentiment backing dies.
It's not often we get dies with this many options.
The sentiments in the Autumn Leaves stamp set are beautiful - Love the font!
The type set on some of them are very small which was a "tiny" drawback.
I hope to experiment with the images from the stamp set a little more since I dove right into the dies ( I couldn't help it ) and somewhat forgot about the stamp set.
The Designer Paper - All About Autumn Specialty Designer Paper is nothing short of absolutely gorgeous!! The sides with scenes... well you could just frame them. They look like beautiful fall photos that I have taken on many fall photo shoots.
The other sides of these papers are saturated in fall colors with foil accents running through the designs. This paper is a must have and we will definitely be creating some cards that features only the paper. So quick and easy cards where the paper adds all of the beauty.
Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper - again, absolutely stunning!
Leaves created with this paper are positively beautiful!
We will see that coming up this week as well.
Other products in this Suite included - Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots, Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, as well as a Copper and Natural Ribbon Combo.
Each item only compliments the next. Super Suite of products!
Here's the card from above again... that candescent glow seemed to appear better on my kitchen counter than in my office.
This card glows with a battery tealight tucked into the inside, plenty of space on the backside to write your personal message, and folds
flat for mailing. I'm going to use mine as part of my fall decor showcased on a
side table in my dining room.
Check back this week to learn how to create yours!
Along with some other fun projects...
