As summer comes to a painful close... I wanted to share one more card
with these beautiful little fireflies.
This card is an extremely cute flip fold card, and it has that name because it reminds me of one of those flip books.
This type of card is extremely useful if you have a stamp set with so many great images that you just can't fit them all on the card front.
The extra panel allows for a little more creativity.
One of my favorite parts of summer are the warm nights with crickets singing, and just a gentle enough breeze to slightly cool the high temperatures. On those warm evenings I can look out into the wooded area behind my house and into the enchanted forest! The whole treed area aglow with tiny little sparkling lights blinking everywhere. What a magical feeling!
I haven't seen the fireflies since last week since the evening temperatures have dipped down quite a bit. I hope to see them again before summer departs, but the reality is... probably not...
So here they are on this card front, card middle and on the
writing layer of this card.
I did use a retired designer paper to create this card - Eden's Garden, maybe you have some of that left in your stash.
I used the rectangle die cuts Contour Dies.
Also, retired Evening Evergreen cardstock for the card base.
The card was created in these colors to coordinate with the rest of the series
that I created with the Lighting the Way Bundle.
I'm thinking now that I need to create this card with a card base and designer paper that are available to purchase.
Stay tuned... as we create this card in this week coming!
