We have been creating the Traditional Joy Fold card design for many years... and why not?! It shows off multiple designer papers at once, has a focal point, fashions a bit of a fun fold and most of all looks great!
The One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Paper pack gave us a few great sheets of paper to enable us to revisit the traditional joy folding card layout.
I absolutely love this version done with this fox, in that it's not a Christmas card!
In this case it's a "Grateful" card - I used last years Soft Seedlings stamp set for a greeting, because I love the font on the sentiments in that set.
Choose what you love for a sentiment!
If you have a particular stamp set that you love, or a particular greeting or sentiment - use that stamp set.
This card can be for any occasion you choose - birthday, baby, retirement, just because... just about anything!
This particular layout and design of the paper leaves plenty of room for writing a personal message on the card inside.
If you choose a designer paper that maybe isn't as subtle of this one, simply cut a
3 x4 piece of Basic White Cardstock and attach it in the card inside, hidden behind the front panel of the card, to write your message.
So, have some fun with this layout as you "bring back the joy fold card"!!
