A cute fall card!

It seemed like it was time to create a fall themed card... we all know that summer is travelling way to fast and that fall/autumn is just around the corner!

I am  never happy to see summer coming to a close, however Fall is definitely my season!! The colors, the cooler temperatures yet still warm days, and just the smell of fall in the air.

Fall reminds us that change can be beautiful!!

With that in mind, I dug way down deep into my stash and pulled out a cute little stamp set that I don't even have any idea where it came from.  I knew I had never used it before... so that seemed reason enough to create something with it.

The set was full of fall leaves, and some really cute little squirrel images having fun with fall leaves and acorns.  I chose 2 squirrel images, a stack of leaves and a tree branch from the set to create my card.

I used my Copic markers to color the images. Blended a bit of a ground and sky background on the Basic White Layer for the card front.
I simply attached the tree branch and squirrels using dimensionals to my background and added a few rhinestones for a little added interest.

I do feel like the little jumping character needs some swishing motion to indicate that he is jumping into the leaf pile.

What do you think?
Let me know in the comments below πŸ‘‡

There were several more cute images in this set so I'm sure I will do a few more cards using this theme.  The card was completely adorable!
And that sentiment - "Enjoy the Little Things" - what a great sentiment, a perfect reminder for any recipient!

How many of you have some fun fall critters in your stash?
Something you maybe haven't used in awhile, or maybe something that is a favorite?
I'd love to hear about it!

Maybe you don't like cards with little critters and you like to create your fall cards with a different theme...  if so, what is your favorite type of fall card?

Let me know... all below in the comments πŸ‘‡
(we have a contest going that revolves around the comments, so I'll be asking lots of questions in the coming weeks).

***I have since discovered that this stamp set is called "Oh Nuts" and came from Hello Bluebird. It is still available for purchase, just in case you absolutely loved the little characters as much as I did!
