Creative Card Designs - One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Paper

Oh my, Oh my, Oh my, Lord love a duck... is all I can really say about this paper!
It is absolutely stunning and so easy to create beautiful cards with.

As I had said in a previous post, my intention was to showcase a few cards for a very tiny stint of "Christmas in July".
I am by no means ready to talk about Christmas, prepare for Christmas or anything even close to it.
Anywho, I had ordered the Trucking Along stamp set and it didn't arrive in my order, so I am still in waiting for that.  Hence these cards only feature the "One Horse Open Sleigh" Designer Paper. Which all worked out well enough since the paper is super amazing when it comes to creating stand alone cards.
As you can see....

This card you are seeing right now πŸ” features 2 of the beautiful papers from the pack with shades of Pool Party & Early Espresso, and I have to say I am loving it.
If you like this card, there is a fall card tutorial coming for it.

The first 2 cards the top of the post also feature a piece of paper from the
same pack sporting that adorable little deer.  They are 2 different cards
- 1 is a very simple version of just pasting a section of the DSP on the card
front and the other is stepped up just a little to create the illusion of the
deer standing farther back in the forest.
Both are fabulous!
I actually used sequins from Stampin' Ups website.
I'll link those right here, so I don't forget.
Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack  (cheap, cheap, cheap)

This card πŸ‘† is a traditional Joy Fold Card design that features 3 different sheets
You have got to get this paper!!
I've added some ribbon and a few retired snow flakes from days gone by.
New snowflake embellishments are available though...
and... they coordinate with this paper magically!!

This card was a quick and easy version - so with a 4 x 5 1/4 section of the designer paper backed on a 4 1/4 x 11 card base, scored at 5 1/2.
The inside has a layer of Basic White cardstock cut at 4 x 5 1/4, with a 3/4 inch strip that was cut from the side of the same piece of paper used for the card front.
The sentiments were from the retired Merry Moose stamp set (one of my favorites), since I don't have any current Christmas themed stamps as of yet.

Here are a few more easy version seasonal cards created with the same
designer paper. There are so many scenes to choose from, these cards
didn't even cover half of the designs.
I already need to order more of this paper since I have been having
so much fun with it!
