"Cast out" lots of love to someone special this Father's Day with this quick & easy
card featuring the "Gone Fishing" Bundle.
This card starts with an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 card base in Night of Navy, scored at 4 1/4.
Cut a pieced of the "Let's Go Fishing" designer series paper @ 4 x 3 1/2,
and attach to the card front.
Using the waves die from the Gone Fishing Die set cut waves on a small angle
on the top edge of a piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock cut at @ 2 1/8 x 4.
The die will cut this layer with a wavy edge border as well as leave some embossed swirls resembling the motion of waves.
With a blending brush blend some Blueberry Bushel Ink along the wavy edge of this piece of cardstock. This well create more depth and dimension.
Attach the layer with dimensionals to the bottom section of the card front.
Cut a square at 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 (or use a square die) from a piece of Basic White cardstock.
Stamp the Happy Father's Day greeting from the Gone Fishing stamp set in the center of the square. Attach this to the card front using dimensionals.
Fussy cut 2 fish from a piece of the Let's Go Fishing designer paper, or you can stamp 2 of the fish image from the stamp set and color.
Adhere the fish to the Basic White Square on the card front.
Brush the fish with a little Wink of Stella.
Add a few coordinating gems or rhinestones for a little added interest.
Card inside:
On a layer of Basic White cardstock cut @ 4 x 5 1/4 stamp a desired sentiment. Stamp a few of the fishing tackle from the Gone Fishing stamp set to coordinate with the card colors. Attach this layer to the inside of the card.
That's it! Quick, Easy, and it looks great!
