Peekaboo Giraffes ~ A Stamp Review

Are these giraffes not just completely adorable?!
They are just totally cute!

** Spoiler Alert - These cards were not created from a Stampin' Up stamp set.

And yes... I can create cards with any products!
I am a Stampin' Up demonstrator, but I do use other products!

When I saw these giraffes I completely fell in love with them!
And currently, Stampin' Up doesn't have any cutesy giraffes.

During the lengthy wait for the arrival of my pre order I was anxious to create with new stamping products and I didn't have any. I'm sure if you spend any amount of time looking at card supplies online that you likely get tons of emails advertising papercraft products ( or maybe that's just me ).
So I made the decision to purchase the Giraffe's Peeking stamp set and the Jungle Frame Die Set from Whimsy Stamps.

I ordered the set, it was here exactly 1 week later to the day! Which was great, I wasn't expecting it to be that quick. I am in Canada so when a product ships from the United States it's been my experience that it takes awhile. So I was super surprised when these arrived so quickly!!

The Giraffe's Peeking were just as cute in person as they were on the computer screen....lol
So... creating began.
I stamped the images using Black Memento Ink. I figured I was likely going to have to use a stamp positioning tool to get a great image, however that was not the case. One stamp, and it was dark, clear & precise.
I was impressed!

I used Stampin' Up Blends markers to color the giraffe's, and as always they work fantastic!
I used Stampin' Up cardstock for the card base, other die cut pieces, as well as for stamping the images on.
I love Stampin' Up cardstock - I find it to be durable, the colors are amazing, and well... there is just no other cardstock that I have tried that even compares!

The designer paper in 2 examples was retired Stampin' Up designer paper.
And the dots that I used were also retired embellishments that I have hanging about.

The sentiments that came with the stamp set were super cute! The members of my household loved the playful fun of these card samples.

I just fussy cut the giraffes, but did use the Jungle Frame Die set for the frame on the one card and the leaves that are on the cards.
The dies cut beautifully, and all pieces fell right out of the dies. I didn't have to get my poker tool out to remove any of the extra pieces in the frame.
So again... I was pleased with this set of dies as well.

The price point for the stamps was great! And shipping which can tend to break us when ordering products online was $13.99.
The products were delivered in exactly a week, so I have no problem with that delivery fee.

So it is safe to say... when I see another stamp set from this company that I absolutely love, I will definitely purchase it!
I love Stampin' Up products, but sometimes I'm just looking for a different kind of stamp ~ usually some cutesy looking animal!!
Like Bees ~ I have been waiting for cute bee themed stamps or something with adorable bears! I love creating teddy bear type cards.

Let your creative process take you where it leads you - create with graphics you love, you'll get the best results!

I'm glad I had the opportunity to try these stamps, and I definitely have some more giraffe themed cards in mind to create.

** I just want to make it clear here, that I do not affiliate for Whimsy Stamps, I simply saw a product, tried it out and shared my opinion with all you. I do not make any money for this review or for trying the products.

I hope you all are having an amazing day!
