And it's Monday again... time for a quick tutorial!
Today's 5 Minute Card features the Dainty Flowers Designer Paper that is available during Sale a-bration FREE with a $60(CAD) dollar purchase. So be sure to check that out!
This paper is absolutely gorgeous. I have designed so many quick and easy cards with this paper. It's one of those papers where the paper is so beautiful it creates the whole card itself.
The paper is perfect for any occasion really... other than maybe a masculine card.
It will work with any greeting though the paper does pair up with a bundle in the new mini catalogue. You can view that here > Dainty Delight Bundle
So on with the card ~
Measurements:
Night of Navy Cardstock - 4 1/4 x 11
Scored @ 5 1/2
DSP 1 - 1 x 5 1/2 (navy pattern) Cut 3
DSP 2 - 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 (large flower pattern)
Basic White cardstock - 3/4 x 3
4 x 5 1/4 (card inside)
Instructions:
Cut & Score Card pieces.
Attach 1 strip of the navy pattern DSP to the outside edge of each side of the card front.
Attach dimensionals to the back of the floral pattern piece of DSP and attach in the center of the card front.
Stamp the desired sentiment on the basic white strip of cardstock ( I used a sentiment from Dragonfly Garden ).
Use dimensionals to attach the greeting to the card front.
Add a few gems or rhinestones to the card front for added interest.
Use the remaining strip of DSP paper to adhere to the outside edge of the card inside layer.
Stamp desired sentiment on the inside card panel, and attach this layer to the inside of the card.
It doesn't get any quicker than ... yet the result is a beautiful card!
