Peekaboo! This cute little Gnome peeks from a basket filled with juicy red apples to greet the recipient.

I've had so many requests for a supply list and instructions for this card that .. well.... I just had to feature the card here.

This card features apples and the wood basket from the Cheerful Basket Bundle and the cute little gnome is from the Kindest Gnomes Bundle.

Gingham Cottage Designer Paper - 4 x 5 1/4

Instructions:

Cut & Score card pieces.

Wrap a piece of ribbon ( I used a retired yellow ribbon ) around the designer paper layer and tie in a bow to the right side of the layer. Attach this layer to the front of the cardstock.

Stamp the inside card layer with desired greeting and images, attach to card inside.

Stamp the "Happy Birthday" greeting on the basic white greeting strip using "Go To Greetings Stamp set" or use what you have. Cut the end of the greeting strip at an angle.

Using the Balmy Blue ink pad and a blending brush ~ blend a bit of a sky effect on the top section of the remaining Basic White layer. Blend the sky on the top of this layer and just around the side edges a bit.

Attach this layer onto the remaining Basic Black Layer.

Stamp the peeking gnome character from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set.

Stamp a basket and 2 sets of apples from the Cheerful Basket stamp set.

Color the basket using a combination of Stampin Blends markers. Soft suede, crumb cake, and mango melody. The mango melody will give the basket that rich wood look.

Color the apples using both light and dark Real Red Stampin Blends markers, and Granny Apple Green for the leaves.

Color the gnome in desired colors using Stampin Blends markers.

Use coordinating dies to cut the above colored images.

Attach the first set of apples just sitting behind the top edge of the basket. Add dimensionals to this image and add to the front of the blended basic white layer.

Using dimensionals attach the gnome character atop the basket sitting in the apples.

Cut 1 single apple from the 2nd set of die cut apples and attach the single apple in the hands of the gnome.

Cut the remaining section of apples to fit around the bottom edges of the basket. Using glue tuck them in to place behind the basket.

Using dimensionals add this layer to the to the left side of the card front.

Attach the Greeting strip to the bottom right corner of the card front.

Add a few rhinestones or gems to give the front of the card a little sparkle.

That's it! Card created!

Though this card is definitely not a 5 minute card, it is still so much fun to create!

The card recipient will love this card so much! Believe me!
