5 Minute Monday ~ Scrap Buster Christmas Card! ( Scroll for Non Christmas Version )

Today's 5 Minute Monday Tutorial is not only quick, easy, and beautiful ~ it's also a great Scrap Buster!!

Do you have tons of tiny scraps of designer series paper left over from card making or scrapbooking?

This card layout is a perfect use for those small scraps.

I didn't have a lot of Christmas paper this year, however I do have leftover paper from previous years so these card samples consist of one with this years Lights Aglow paper, and one with a retired paper ( which I loved ).

So here we go... you will need:

Cardstock - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
Scored @ 4 1/4

Basic White Cardstock - 4 x 5 1/4 ( Cut 2 )

Designer Paper - 3 1/2 x 7/8 ( Cut 2 )
3 x 7/8
2 1/2 x 7/8

Instructions:

Cut & Score card pieces.

Banner cut the ends of all 4 strips ( 3 for card front, 1 for card inside )
Attach 3 of the banner strips in 3 different lengths to a Basic White Cardstock layer, as pictured.
Stamp a greeting in the bottom right corner of this same layer.
Wrap coordinating ribbon around this layer and tie in a bow to the top left.
Attach the layer to the front of the card base.
Attach the remaining banner strip to the inside card layer and stamp desired sentiment, and adhere to card inside.
Add a few Festive Pearls or coordinating rhinestones to the card front...

And you are done...

Don't forget to decorate a coordinating envelope!

The fun design continues on the card inside.

This card design can be used with pretty much any designer paper, or stamp set.
Love it!

These examples show this same card layout as a Birthday card as well as a Thank You card!

So easy & So Beautiful!

A quick peek at the inside.
I love this sentiment, I'm sure I'll be using it for a long time.

I hope this card has given you some inspiration to create some cards of your own!
