Snowman Magic ~ Card 1

I absolutely love this Snowman Magic bundle! It's the perfect bundle when you need to quickly whip up some really great cards.

 Like Christmas/Holiday Cards!!

Not only is the Snowman Magic bundle adorable, it's also quite elegant. We will see the versatility in today's card tutorial and a few more cards that will be coming up.

The stamp set has some cool little greetings, as well as the large "magical" greeting.
The snowflake framelet die definitely helps create many beautiful cards, however ... just check out that adorable little bunny and all of those snowman accessories! Yeah!

Today's card uses only a few items from this bundle... the possibilities are endless.
"Snow" much fun to be had with this set!

Supplies & Measurements for Today's Card:

Shaded Spruce cardstock - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
Scored @ 4 1/4

Basic White cardstock - 4 x 5 1/4
Emboss this layer with the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder or any snowflake embossing folder that you have

Basic White cardstock - 4 1/2 x 3 1/2
( to die cut the snowflake framelet )

Scraps of Basic White for stamping
Scraps of Basic Black cardstock for die cutting

Instructions:

Cut & Score card pieces ( as above ).

Die cut the smaller Basic White layer with the Snowflake framelet. *** Do not throw away the inside of this section. Without affixing this layer place it over the larger white layer to use as a guide to stamp the "magical" greeting on the larger white layer.

Emboss the larger Basic White Layer and attach to the card front.

Attach the framelet layer to the card front using mini dimensionals and plenty of them.

Stamp the toque(hat), scarf and the tiny bird using Shaded Spruce Ink.

Stamp a Snowman and facial details & the bunny using Memento Black Ink.

Die cut the above stamped images as well as the tree and 2 arms for the snowman from Basic Black cardstock.

Assemble the snowman.
*TIP- I used glue dots to attach his arms.
Liquid glue to attach the hat and scarf.
Color his nose with a Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends Marker or another orange coloring tool.
Color the bunny with Smoky Slate Stampin Blends markers.

Attach the tree to the bottom right corner of the snowflake framelet on the card front.
Using dimensionals attach the snowman just a little over the tree.
Attach the bunny to the bottom left corner of the framelet with a dimensional.
The bird with a mini dimensional towards the top of the card.
Place a few Basic Rhinestone Gems to give the card front a bit of sparkle.

I also used a little Wink of Stella on my snowman and just dotted a bit on the snowflakes of the frame.

Remember that negative section when cutting the snowflake framelet? The one I said "don't throw this away"?

Stamp that piece of cardstock with the "Merry Christmas" greeting from the Snowman Magic set, and attach to the card inside.
It makes a coordinating inside card panel!!!
How "cool" is that?

This card is so pretty... yet fun!
Try the layout in a few different colors.
