Peaceful Deer ~ Turn this into that!

Turn this into ...

That πŸ‘‡

The Peaceful Deer Stamp set & Deer Builder Punch was released for the Holiday season in 2021, and still remains for another Christmas season.
I have used this bundle for many occasion other than Christmas.
That deer punch makes it so easy to create cards for a masculine birthday!

I wasn't thrilled to pieces with the this years selection for seasonal designer papers, so I've used last years Painted Christmas designer paper ( still available this year ).
This paper pack didn't make my favorites list either, other than this piece with the beautiful pine cones.

Since there are only 2 pieces of this particular paper in the pack I had to use it sparingly. So cutting a few small sections for this card front was quite thrifty usage of the paper.

This card started with a card base in Evening Evergreen cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
Scored @ 4 1/4

Brushed Metallic Cardstock ( Gold ) Cut at 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
*** TIP: Since this layer is for matting and no one will ever see the inside section of it, I punched 2 deer from the mid section of the layer first. Paper conservation!!

Next cut a layer of Soft Succulent at 4 x 5 1/4.
I embossed mine with the Fern 3D embossing folder due to lack of a folder with pine greens ( I must order one of those ).
If you have Wintry 3D Embossing Folders you should definitely use that.

Painted Christmas Designer Paper - 1 1/2 x 3 1/4 cut 3

Attach the gold metallic layer onto the evening evergreen card front, then attach the soft succulent layer. Adjust the panels of designer paper across the card front and adhere.

Using Gold Simply Elegant Trim, wrap a few times around 3 fingers to create a circle type array.
I used a bit of seal to affix this to the card front.

Cut a 2 1/4 in circle from Vellum Cardstock.
Attach a deer punch from the Gold Metallic cardstock to the center of the vellum using tape seal or glue.

Attach 2 dimensionals to the backside of the the vellum circle placed directly where the deer is showing ( this way you won't see the dimensionals showing through the vellum.
Then attach the vellum circle over the rings of gold trim.

Using the "Merry Christmas" stamp from the Peaceful Deer Stamp set, stamp the greeting using Versimark on a
1/4 x 2 1/4 scrap of Evening Evergreen.

Coat the stamped greeting with Gold Embossing Powder and heat emboss until shiny ( just a few seconds ).
Attach the greeting with a dimensional on one end a little glue on the other.
Add a few Festive Pearls to the card front.

A Beautiful Peaceful Deer Christmas Card

Using a piece Basic White cardstock cut an inside panel for the card at 4 x 5 1/4
Attach a 1 x 4 strip of coordinating designer paper to the right side of the inside panel.
Stamp desired sentiment on the inside panel using Evening Evergreen Ink.
Attach the panel to the inside of the card.
