How cute is this adorable little gnome peeking out from behind the trees?
He's just popping in to say "Hello"
(stamped from the Soft Seedlings stamp set)
So yes.. I paired up the Aspen Tree Dies with the Kindest Gnome stamp set, along with a few little cut out images from the past Sale abration " Rings of Love" designer paper.
The background layer behind the trees is a piece of designer paper from the Hues of Happiness designer paper. This layer is cut at 4 x 5 1/4
The tree layer cut at 4 1/8 x 5 3/4 is attached using dimensionals. I die cut the trees in a basic grey cardstock and then sponge daubed a little basic grey ink to increase the depth of the trees.
I stamped and colored my favorite gnome ( the little peeking fellow ) from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set. I fussy cut around his little hands so that I could place him behind the tree and still have his hands visible on the front side of the tree. I just tucked him in behind with a little adhesive.
All of this was backed onto a Night of Navy card base
8 1/2 x 5 1/2
Scored at 4 1/4
I chose a few colorful dots on the card front to accent the color of the background layer.
This inside layer is Basic White card stock cut at 4 x 5 1/4
and stamped with a greeting from my "retired" stash.
You could decorate the card inside any way you choose with a greeting that best suits your card purpose.
These Aspen Tree Dies just keep on creating for us, the possibilities are just endless using this die cut. I can't wait to try a few Christmas designs.
I hope you enjoyed yet another short card tutorial using the Aspen Tree Dies. If so, please let me know in the comments belowπ
Have a blessed day!
