5 Minute Monday ~ Snowman Magic Seasonal Card

I was a little stumped when it came to today's post.

It definitely feels like fall in the air here...

So much so, that it felt like I should for sure be creating a card with fall leaves or pumpkins while sipping a pumpkin spice coffee wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket.

Or some scary little ghosts or witches in preparation for Halloween. However, as I have said before, I don't overdue it with Halloween cards as it's not an occasion I send many cards out for.

I do have a few Halloween treat holders coming up as I think pretty much everyone will have some cute little trick or treaters arriving at their door, and knowing how to create an adorable treat packaging makes your treat that much more memorable.

So... back to today's card... it's cool, it's chilly even and we did have a few of those little white snowflakes flying throughout the air just the other evening. So I pulled out a stamp & die set I haven't yet worked.

Snowman Magic Bundle Is what we are creating with today!

This stamp & die set is just about the cutest thing since the Hippo's. So many little pieces to die cut, plus adorable little stamps and greetings.
Though it looks like a lot of parts and pieces, it's actually really easy to create with, so I chose it for 5 Minute Monday under the pretense that if you die cut the pieces and have them ready the card will work up in approx. 5 minutes.

If you don't already have this set ~ I highly recommend it, it's completely adorable! The possibilities for little scenes on the card fronts are endless with this bundle. I will post a link to purchase it.

Small Scrap of Basic black to die cut the snowman arms

Basic Rhinestones
Night of Navy Ink Pad

Instructions:

Cut & Score card pieces.

Using Night of Navy Stamp a winter hat and scarf from the Snowman Magic Stamp Set. Die cut these pieces.

Stamp a Snowman body and his face using Memento Black Ink. Color his nose in with an Pumpkin Pie Stampin' blend marker. Die cut the snowman.

Die cut 3 tiny snowflakes.

Die cut 2 Snowman arms out of the basic black cardstock.

Using glue dots or liquid glue attach the hat and the arms to the back of the snowman. Use a mini dimensional to attach the scarf.

Stamp the large sentiment from the stamp set just off center ( to the right a tiny bit ) on the Designer Paper Layer.

Attach the Designer Paper Layer to the card front.

Die cut the Basic White Layer using the snowflake framelet die included in the Snowman dies centered in the middle of this layer.

Using dimensionals attach the snowflake framelet layer to the card front covering the DSP layer.

Attach 2 dimensionals on the bottom of the snowman and adhere him to the bottom left corner of the card front.

Using liquid glue attach 3 tiny snowflakes in the desired positions on the cardfront.

Add a basic rhinestone to the center of these 3 snowflakes.

Decorate a piece of Basic White Cardstock ( 4 x 5 1/4 ) with desired images and sentiment to create the card inside and attach.

And just like that... an adorable snowman card!
1 card closer to having your Christmas cards all stamped and ready to send.
This card was so easy to create, I'm sure as you make it you will be inspired to create many more cute little snowman cards with the Snowman Magic Bundle. So have fun with it!
