5 Minute Monday ~ Bewitching Quick Card + Plus 2 Alternatives

Hello Everyone! I hope you have all had a great week?!

Today's 5 Minute Monday Tutorial is a little Bewitching!

I know... it's to early to be thinking about Halloween, however summer has left rather abruptly, and fall is slipping away so quickly that before you know Halloween will be here.

So it's a good idea to get a few Halloween cards out there just in case you have a few little goblins you need to send cards to.

Just in case... you never ever send Halloween cards - I have also created 2 alternatives to show that you can use this layout with pretty much any focal point. In fact it was hard to stop at the 3 cards. I could have kept on going and going and going....

Be sure to check out the alternate cards near the bottom of this post.

Materials and Measurements are pretty easy for this card.

Here's everything you need to create this card.
Supplies:

Basic Black cardstock - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2
Scored @4 1/4
Basic Black Circle - 2 3/4 in diameter
Scrap for punching hat band ( stars )

3/4 x 4

Basic White Circle - 2 3/4 in diameter
Basic White scrap for stamping the witch hat
Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4 ( card inside )

Stampin' Blends for Coloring

Instructions:

Cut & Score Card Pieces.
Stamp a witch hat on a scrap of Basic White.
Stamp the spider from the Bewitching Bundle to the left side of the basic white circle ( as pictured ).
Color the witch hat using Stampin' Blends or whatever your favorite coloring tools are.
Punch out the witch hat, as well as a band of black cardstock using the same witch punch.
Attach the band to the hat using some glue.
There will be stars that punch that you may choose to use on your card as well.

Stamp a greeting on the top right of the DSP layer using a greeting from the Scary Cute Stamp Set.
Attach the Gingham Cottage DSP layer to the front of the card base.
Using dimensionals, attach the witch hat on the basic white circle so it appears that the spider is dangling from the tip of the hat.
Attach the Basic Black circle to the bottom right of the card front.
Adhere the basic white circle with dimensionals, just diagonally over this leaving some of the black circle peeking out ( as pictured ).
Stamp the inside panel with a desired sentiment from the Scary Cute Stamp Set and the little spider from the Bewitching Bundle.
Attach the remaining little strip of DSP to the bottom of the inside panel and attach the inside layer in the card.
Add a few black gems to the card front!

Poof!!! You have a spook-tak-ular card!
This card is completely Bewitching!!

So you still don't need a Halloween card?!
Here are 2 more variations using different Designer Papers and different images to create different type of cards. Same layout!

This card uses the Art Gallery Bundle and designer paper from Design A Daydream designer paper pack ( available as a host gift when you place an order above $200 CAD )
You could use any coordinating Designer paper to create this card.

This card uses the Happier than Happy Bundle ( stamp set & dies ) and the Happy Forest Friends Designer Paper.

Today's card layout is so simple and versatile you can match it up with just about any designer paper, stamps, and create the card for many, many occasions!
Give it a try, see what you come up with!

I hope you enjoyed today's 5 Minute Monday!
