What do you get when you combine beautiful colors, patterns, and gold foiling? The exquisite Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper is set to retire at the beginning of June, yet is still available. It's beautiful paper, definitely a must have. Today I want to show you why!!
Expressions in Ink Designer paper pack is another gorgeous paper that makes it easy to create a stand alone card. This allows us to make beautiful cards quickly & easily!
Today, 5 Minute Monday is all about this paper pack.
Just look how easily the paper just makes the whole card!
How about we make the card...
Measurements & Instructions:
Pear Pizzaz Cardstock - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
Score @ 4 1/4
Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Basic White - 2 1/4 x 1 ( or a die cut ) for stamping the greeting
4 1/4 x 5 1/4
Approx. 12 inches of pale papaya sheer ribbon
Genial Gems ( for bling )
Cut & Score the card pieces. Run Pale Papaya Ribbon around the Designer series paper layer ( about an inch from the bottom) and tie to the left side of the layer with a simple knot. Attach the designer paper layer to the card front.
Stamp desired greeting on Basic White Greeting paper piece ( I stamped in Pear Pizzaz ). Attach dimensionals to the back of the greeting and attach so it sits just over the ribbon as shown in the card above.
Stamp the Basic White inside layer piece with desired sentiment, or graphics from stamp set. I used "Artistically Inked" stamp set. I will link that below.
Attach inside panel to the inside of card. Add a few Genial Gems for a touch of bling on the card front.
And.. just like that... another beautiful card ready to send off in the mail.
Now that was really quick & easy! So easy, I think we should create another card!!
This card uses the same card base of 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 of Pale Papaya Cardstock.
Scored at 4 1/4.
Using the same designer series as the 1st card, cut a piece 5 x 3 1/2.
Using the gold striped pattern in the designer series paper pack, cut a piece 4 1/4 x 4.
I used gold Simply Elegant Trim to wrap around the flower layer and tie in a bow.
Attach the gold striped layer to the center of the card base. Then using the flower designer paper piece attach it over top of the gold stiped paper on the card front.
Stamp a greeting on a strip of Basic White 3/4 inch x 3 1/4. Snip the ends to a diagonal cut.
I again used a greeting from the Artistically Inked stamp set.
Using dimensionals attach the greeting to the front of the card.
Add a few Genial Gems for Bling! In the card above I used metallic gems from long ago on it, since I had lost the Genial Gems at this point.
They of course were right in front of me, and I just couldn't see them with my crafters vision π
As you can see, both of these cards are just lovely, yet so quick & simple. The paper does all of the work when creating these cards.
So let me show you the shopping links for this beautiful paper and the other products used to make these cards.
